About This Plan

This Modern Farmhouse plan displays a classic white board and batten exterior with lightly-hued stonework and window panels for a wonderful contrast in color. The front covered porch is a welcoming area for greeting guests, setting up rocking chairs, and potted plants for ambiance. The rear of the home shares the front exterior countenance with a covered barbecue porch that holds enough space for the grill master and his/her friends. The covered area is a great space to protect the cook and friends from the sun or rain while either watching the kids or enjoying a conversation with one another. The two-car side-entry garage features plenty of vehicle space and a workbench.


The interior measures approximately 2,459 square feet with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The foyer is flanked by the dining room and a study that could also double as an additional bedroom. 10-foot ceilings run throughout the front entry into the dining and study and continue into the family room where there is a warming fireplace and plenty of window views of the barbecue porch. The great room opens to the kitchen which features a center island, a walk-in pantry around the corner, and a sunlit breakfast nook with access to the barbecue porch. The owner's suite is located in a private corner just beyond the mudroom and features a 10-foot to 11-foot ceiling with a bump out corner for a computer area as well as a large, en suite bathroom complete with separate vanities, a makeup counter, a separate shower, soaking tub, and a private toilet. There is a large walk-in closet and a utility room attached to the bathroom for major convenience to the homeowner. The secondary bedrooms are similarly sized with walk-in closets and a full bathroom. The bonus room offers a 9-foot ceiling and functions well as a media room, crafts room, or playroom.
